She/her/hers

Disability advocate, author and actor

Australia

As an actor, author, and disability and mental health advocate, Chloe Sarah Hayden’s journey began at 13 years old when she was diagnoses. Prior to that, she was only given resources that were clinical, negative, and painted her mind as broken. After starting an anonymous blog to share her feelings and find community, she ended up building something bigger than she ever dreamed. She’s now a powerhouse in advocacy, with millions of followers and more than half a billion views on her educational videos, global tours where disabled people, caregivers, educators, doctors and politicians come to listen to her speak; inciting national change. She also has a global bestselling educational book entitled Different Not Less, and most notably has made history as Australia’s first autistic actress. She recently learned she is chronically ill; with hEDS, endometriosis, adenomyosis and POTS; it’s only further pushed her to create a more inclusive and accessible future and show the world that different really doesn’t mean less.
