Executive Director, Women and Girls with Albinism Network

Constance Nneka Onyemaechi is a dedicated advocate for inclusivity, supporting women and girls with Albinism in Nigeria. She promotes their rights through inclusive education, healthcare, and employment opportunities, aiming to combat discrimination and promote social justice. In the past year, she has had numerous success. She registered the Women and Girls with Albinism Network in Nigeria which develops inclusive education programs and provides training and mentorship for women and girls with albinism. She advocated for policy changes influencing national legislation and supplied sunscreen and UV sleeves to over 150 people with albinism in Abuja. Her efforts have made a significant impact including fostering acceptance for people with albinism, creating a network of over 1,000 advocates, and promoting inclusive practices and empowering people with albinism. Due to her dedication, she received an award from Steps to the Top Leadership Centre. Her commitment and leadership continue to drive positive change and inspire others.
