DEI advocate

United States

Darian Sarellano has worked tirelessly at the intersection of trans inclusion & disability across multiple companies. They've spent years advocating for greater equity for trans people, especially those with autism and ADHD (which is much more common in this community). Their work has led to creation of multiple communities of trans people who experience intersectional marginalization and driven the adoption of trans-inclusive policies and manager enablement at multiple global organizations.

This past year, they drove the adoption of a trans-inclusion strategy at Okta, including policy and resource guides.

They also have built an internal employee community and a safe space for trans employees, and have taken on mentorship of trans youth people in the community.
