President and Founder of the Association of Disabled People of Adiake

Bogui Jean Christian Polneau is the president and founder of the Association of Disabled People of Adiake, located in the South East of Ivory Coast. 

Through his organization, he has created employment opportunities for people with disabilities, such as 12 shoe repair workplaces, each of which hired 5 people in the community. 

Over the past year, he organized awareness campaigns on disability rights in 10 rural localities, which reached 150 persons with disabilities. Participants were taught about their employment and health rights and relevant international treaties. In addition, he helped build skills for 50 persons with disabilities in project management and leadership.
