Cienna Ditri is a rare disease advocate, consultant, digital creator, and Executive Director of the Periodic Paralysis Association. Living with multiple complex and life-limiting conditions, she uses her lived experience to educate, empower, and amplify people with disabilities and chronic illnesses. Through her digital content, brand partnerships, and advocacy, Cienna advances accessibility, inclusion, and authentic representation. Over the past year, she founded World Periodic Paralysis Day, led the 2025 Periodic Paralysis Conference, created the first legislative advocacy program focused on Periodic Paralysis, and organized Hill Days to connect patients with policymakers. She has worked directly with lawmakers on rare disease and accessibility initiatives and interviewed former Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg about accessible travel. Cienna also educates healthcare professionals nationwide, helping improve understanding of rare and complex conditions. Her work has expanded resources, strengthened advocacy networks, and helped people with Periodic Paralysis feel seen and empowered to advocate for themselves. She received Good Day’s Len Rogers Spirit Award in recognition of her leadership and impact.
