Grant Logan is the founder of Ability Today, a not-for-profit platform that empowers disabled people through education, media, and employment. After a spinal cord injury in 2003, Grant turned personal adversity into collective impact. In 2020, he launched the Academy for Disabled Journalists in partnership with the National Council for the Training of Journalists (NCTJ), training over 100 disabled students. In 2024, he expanded his impact globally—highlighted by a visually impaired graduate in Nairobi now working at Kenya’s national broadcaster. This year, he also launched the Academy for Disabled SEO Specialists, with plans to introduce more digital training pathways. Alumni have secured roles at the BBC, ITV, and Newsquest. Recognized as one of the UK’s 100 most influential disabled people for four consecutive years, Grant has been a finalist at the National Diversity Awards, Tech4Good Awards, and Inclusive Awards, and has been recognized by Sky News and the National Lottery. His work is reshaping digital access and representation.
