Jihad Enayat Abdalkarim is a technologist, entrepreneur, and disability rights advocate dedicated to bridging the digital divide in Halabja, Iraq. As the founder of Khal Tech, he provides IT training to youth and disabled individuals, empowering them with the skills needed for economic independence. Since June 2024, Jihad has trained over 240 people from diverse backgrounds in partnership with local universities and international organizations. His pioneering assistive technology includes the first Kurdish Braille keyboard, expanding access for visually impaired users. Through his work, Jihad not only improves accessibility in a resource-scarce region but also advocates for the broader economic contributions of disabled people. His innovations earned him second place at the HackaSuly Exhibition for Environment and Technology. By combining technical education with social impact, Jihad is fostering inclusion, entrepreneurship, and digital equity.
