Ronald Pettit leads disability inclusion and accessibility at a major global cruise company, a leader in providing innovative and accessible cruise vacations. He has grown a team of 50 employees dedicated to the disability market. His team includes pre-cruise contact center that helps guests and travel advisors plan accessible cruises and shore excursions. His team expansion includes new dedicated headcount focusing employees with disabilities experience and digital accessibility. He increased the number of accessible suites including a top suite (on latest ship) with Genie service (who create personalized VIP experiences). He led the company’s Fifth Disability Mentoring Day, a program matching college students with disabilities with employees for job shadowing and mentoring. His efforts resulted in his company being named Best Places to Work for Disability Inclusion for the seventh year in a row and fourth year of scoring 100% on Disability Equality Index.
