Susan Jean Golubock (She/her/hers)

Founder and Training Developer for Making Sense of Autism, LLC

United States

Susan Jean Golubock is an Autistic adult on a mission to educate non-autistics on how to view the world through the Autistic lens. When individuals understand how to change their view, they provide better support and the autistic individual feels seen and heard. Her ability to explain the Autistic brain is like no other and brings many aha concepts to light. If people understand the Autistic brain in the way she educates others, there would be more understanding and compassion for this community.

Susan spent the first 50 years of her life trying to understand the Neurotypical brain. Then after her diagnosis in her 50's, has spent the last two decades understanding the Autistic brain. She developed the Neuro-Strengths Based Support for Autism and used it in research. The goal of the research is to see if the training and framework helps shift the mindset of Speech-Language Pathologists and Occupational therapists so they can better support their clients. She is like an interpreter for both Autistic and Non-Autistic individuals so that they understand each other, which is what the world needs to be more compassionate towards each other.
