Sarah Elizabeth Kirwan is an inclusive leader, adept at initiating critical conversations to connect communities and drive positive social change for people with disabilities. She is the founder & CEO of Eye Level Communications, and also host of the Incluse This! Podcast, a disability equity movement that amplifies and unifies disabled voices.
Diagnosed with Relapsing-Remitting Multiple Sclerosis and Superior Semicircular Canal Dehiscence, her personal and professional experience make her a trusted resource and a passionate disability rights champion.
Sarah is a member of the National Diversity Council and California Diversity Council. In light of the pandemic and rising discourse around Black Lives Matter in May of 2020, she got active on social media to join the conversation and connect with diversity, equity, and inclusion leaders to positively impact and change our world. In 2022, she wrote an article for Hearing Health Foundation (HHF) Magazine and shared her story publicly for the first time to provide knowledge and awareness, and to empower others who live with debilitating Vestibular and Rare Diseases who feel lost, isolated, and hopeless.
Sarah is also the Board Chair for Shield Maidens Wheelchair Basketball and a policy advocate with the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. She is a published writer and has been interviewed for Prevention and Yahoo! News. She presented at the 2022 National Alliance on Mental Illness Conference and the 2023 Vestibular Diseases Association Life Rebalanced Live Conference. She is a Lived Experience Expert Partner with the US Department of Health and Human Services.
