Lois Auta is a mentor and advocate for the rights of women and girls with Disabilities, and holds a number of accomplishments and positions, including: Executive Director, Cedar Seed Foundation; Global President, Network of Women With Disabilities; A Young Global Leader of World Economic Forum in Africa; A Mandela Washington Fellow. Lois is also the first woman with a Disability to contest for a seat in Nigeria's House of Representatives, in the 2019 general elections. She has also been featured in the media on BBC World Service and Global Citizen.
She has empowered hundreds of people with disabilities with mobility aids, scholarship and grants award and skill-based education. Between October 2022 to March 2023, with support from funders and donor agencies, she conducted a “train-the-trainer” skill acquisition program in Southern Kaduna for 50 women and girls with disabilities. These 50 women and girls are, in compliance with the mandate of the training, in turn training 50 other girls and women with disabilities as well as other unreached vulnerable women and girls in terrorist-ravaged Southern Kaduna in Kaduna State.
