Pawan being blind due to the past ten years of armed conflict in Nepal has been promoting cricket for the blind girls in Nepal since 2006 so as to make blind girls realize their potential to play, expose their hidden competency to the world and change common men’s perspective to view blind girls a bi-product of the society to the dignified players. So far, he has been able to make over 200 blind girls play cricket. His work in the field of cricket for the blind girls and expanding it globally starting from a small ground in Kathmandu stands as evidence of his unique work.

We asked Pawan if he’d like to add anything else to his accomplishments, he stated: “I am the founder of cricket for the blind women in the world. . The game that I started in Nepal has now reached five different countries of the world.
