At the bottom, “Diversability, #D30DisList.” fills the left corner.

Jermaine Greaves (He/him/his)

Founder of blackdisabledlivesmatters

United States

Jermaine’s work is focused on helping the disabled community, especially Black disabled people. His fashion line NLTOK is a statement on how someone’s intersectionality is their superpower and what makes them stand out. Even though his own personal financial and housing struggles, he continues to advocate for Black disabled people. He is also boosting mutual aid requests to help others secure the funding they need.

The most impactful thing Jermaine has accomplished this past year is the way he continued to advocate and be an activist for Black lives, disabled people, and abortion rights.. despite the fact that he is going through his own struggles. He has been at constant risk of homelessness this year and yet continued to be an activist and advocate for others. His fashion line Not Like The Other Kids uses proceeds to help kids with disabilities.

We asked Jermaine if he’d like to add anything else to his accomplishments, he stated: “I am a dancer as well and actor.
