Black Long Covid Patient Advocate and Consultant

Chimère has been advocating for Black women with Long Covid, sharing her experiences in ways that are having huge impacts. She has published articles as well as met with congressional leaders, NIH officials, and even the President's COVID task force. She is a patient advocate with Long Covid and she also has been looking out for those with other post-viral chronic illnesses, like ME/CFS & POTS, in her advocacy.

Chimère testified before congress about her experience with medical gaslighting and lack of treatment as a Black woman with Long Covid. She was published in HuffPost, was featured in Time, and has been featured on many panels with BodyPolitic.
