Ryan J. Haddad (he/him)

Actor and Playwright

USA

Ryan is an actor and autobiographical performer. His autobiographical work in particular reflects all the messiness of life - good and bad decisions, complicated yet loving family relationships, sexuality, and so on - through the lens of his disability (cerebral palsy), but without making his disability the sole focus the work. Ryan being on stage on and on screen gives visibility to the disabled community in a real, rather than sentimental or preachy, way. This last year, he starred in seasons 1 and 2 of the Netflix series The Politician. His character is a hilarious jerk who happens to have cerebral palsy. His cabaret show, Falling for Make Believe, also ran at Joe's Pub in NYC this past January.
