Leslie Irby is the epitome of what a leader looks like. She is the first brown girl with a disability to ever be in a major show during New York fashion week. She was a part of the FDA Trial to get the exoskeleton approved to be used as a medical device in the USA. She is also the first African American brown girl with a disability to hold a pilot’s licenses in the world. She’s accomplished so much in the past seven years. The most impactful thing Leslie Irby accomplished from July 2019-June 2020 is being the first African American brown girl with a disability to obtaining a pilot license in the world.
