Abha Khetarpal, a polio survivor, advocates for the rights of persons with disabilities. She has been providing free online counseling since 2011. Her efforts of advocacy and writing work have brought forth the hidden issues concerning disabled. Many have become self advocates and have attained leadership qualities. Her project with World Health Organization showed inaccessibility of medical and healthcare facilities in India. In the past year, Abha Khetarpal has developed a Manual on Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights of Women with Disabilities in India. The manual is of extreme importance for disabled women, medical professionals and caregivers. It is a well researched and well documented document. No such other document in India has existed before this. After completing the manual she structured a developed an online faced paced course on Disability Etiquette.
