Seeing Life Through a Different Lens is an inspiring book. There were several times while I was reading when I felt like the story was happening right in front of me.

One moment that really stayed with me was near the beginning, when Zaakirah first discovered her eye disease and her mom could not be in the room while they were checking her eye. That part grabbed my heart and made me cry.

I also loved the end of the book, where she worked many part-time jobs to reach her goals. As someone who is also working a part-time job while still going after my own dreams, her story inspired me to keep going.

This book is emotional, powerful, and encouraging. It reminds readers that even when life is hard, we can still keep moving forward and work toward the future we want.
