Lala Novali Shanks (she/he/they, interchangeably) is a multiply-disabled, gender-abundant, queer, biracial Black artivist. Their work centers community-engagement, cultural organizing, direct aid, and storytelling. Lala is passionate about the expansiveness found within the overlap of creative expression and liberation. Their interests are vast and include the following: creative technology, public speaking and oratory, facilitation, writing, poetry performance, peer support, consultancy, strategy and organizing.
