Frankson Musukwa serves as Director General of the Zambia Agency for Persons with Disabilities, where he leads efforts to regulate and coordinate inclusive services for people with disabilities. His work is focused on implementing Zambia’s Persons with Disabilities Act, eliminating systemic barriers, and advancing equal opportunities. Over the past year, Frankson has expanded economic empowerment initiatives, including increased access to assistive devices and sustainable employment opportunities that support livelihoods and independence. As a member of the Electoral Reform Technical Committee, he helped secure five dedicated seats in the National Assembly and more than 250 local council positions for people with disabilities, strengthening political representation at both national and local levels. He has also overseen the approval of key legal and policy frameworks, including the Persons with Disabilities Policy and National Mainstream Disability Guidelines. His leadership has contributed to improved mobility, economic opportunity, political participation, and protection of disability rights across Zambia. Frankson’s impact has been recognized through honors including the President’s Insignia of Honour and the PEPFAR Champion Award.
