Dhanya Ravi was born with a rare genetic disease called Osteogenesis Imperfecta. She is a recipient of State & National award, India. She works as a freelance content writer & digital marketer. Dhanya is a TEDx and Josh Talk speaker as well as a founding member of Aasmaan Foundation Trust. She has addressed motivational sessions for around 4000 people globally. She advocates for mandatory genetic tests & early diagnosis of rare disease through public talks, fundraiser and social awareness program offline & online. In the past year, she raised 1,58,000 Lakh for people with rare diseases for their medical and assistive aids. Additionally, she conducted India's largest fashion show for differently-abled individuals to raise awareness for inclusion. Dhanya regularly volunteers to do audio reads for persons with visual impairments and to conduct awareness of Covid-19 through #HealthyAtHome - Mental health. Learn more about Dhanya.
