Diversability Unplugged - Disability & Adaptive Sports

The world of adaptive sports is on the rise, and with it comes an annual 134.2 million dollar industry that gives people with disabilities a chance to participate in recreational and competitive sports. In 2016, the Rio Paralympic Games had record breaking viewership of 4.1 billion globally, which was around half a billion more than the 3.6 billion who tuned in for the 2016 Olympic Games. However, real history was made in 2021 when Paralympic athletes finally earned equal pay for their medal wins as their Olympic counterparts.

Join us this September for Diversability Unplugged: Disability and Adaptive Sport on Wednesday, September 7, 2022, from 7 PM - 8:30 PM ET. This virtual event will dive into the world of adaptive sports through a panel discussion amplifying the lived experiences of several adaptive athletes.

Stay tuned to meet our panelists!
