This workshop is led by a group of seven students who are visually impaired participating in Vista Center’s Youth of Tomorrow program. Natasha, Lillian, Raghav, Santiago, Paulina, Yaddi, and Aaron are current college students or career bound. For the virtual event, these Vista young adults will present their favorite forms of assistive technology and how they have helped them navigate daily life. “We are so excited to share our experiences to help other kids who are learning technology!” There will be fun trivia games throughout the event and musical entertainment for the guests' enjoyment! Don’t miss this opportunity to learn from young adults who have successfully navigated the world of Assistive Technology.
The goal of this fundraiser is to introduce students who are visually impaired and their families to forms of assistive technology to help them become organized, punctual, and efficient in their academic lives and raise money towards future activities geared to life after high school and the Youth of Tomorrow Program.
