About this Event

Curious about what it is like to navigate higher education with a chronic illness/disability? Want to connect with more students with disabilities/chronic illness?

This event will create a casual, safe place for individuals with chronic illnesses and disabilities to support each other and discuss ways to navigate the higher education system. We will be discussing how we have navigated higher education and sharing our experiences throughout the higher education system. The event will include open-ended related discussion questions and fun games to do in between!

Young People Chronic Illnesses is a safe space for individuals with chronic illnesses to find connections within the disabled and chronic illness community. Through sharing individual stories and raising awareness for diseases, our main values are focused on empowerment, acceptance, community, and awareness.
