This workshop is the second of a 3 part series for our Disability Inclusion Summits. Throughout these summits we will cover topics to unveil unconscious bias, learn creative approaches to hiring, and receive information around recruiting and retaining Veterans with disabilities.
Our second module is a workshop on Unconscious Bias that will prepare you to practice inclusive leadership. This is accomplished by recognizing how our unique backgrounds and experiences influence our decision making along with developing skills to address bias when it occurs. Through identifying your own personal biases, understanding how unconscious bias impacts our decisions, and learning how to address these biases, attendees will gain awareness that can be helpful in both personal and professional life.
