Nominate a Disabled Leader for Diversability’s D-30 Disability Impact List 2024

Nominations for Diversability’s 5th annual D-30 Disability Impact List are now OPEN! The D-30 Disability Impact List #D30DisList is a global list honoring 30 disabled individuals who are leaders making a difference in our community.

Anyone who identifies as disabled is eligible to be nominated (including chronic illnesses & mental health conditions), and nominators do not need to identify as disabled. Self-nominations are not accepted to celebrate the spirit of community and interdependence.

The deadline to nominate a disability leader is Monday, May 20, 2024 at 11:59 PM ET. You are welcome to submit more than one nomination at https://mydiversability.com/d30.

Over the years, we’ve recognized over 120 disabled leaders and received more than 1000 nominations. Previous D-30 honorees include leaders from over 12 countries in 2023 and 12 countries in 2022. The demographics of honorees are diverse with nearly 30% identifying as LGBTQIA+ each year. Racial diversity is also evident with an average over the past four years of 35% identifying as black and 39% identifying as people of color. With a mean age of 38, awardees are predominantly women (57%), followed by men (34%), and non-binary (9%).

Past honorees have mentioned how meaningful being named to the D-30 Disability Impact List has been for them. Haseeb Abbasi (he/him) named to the 2022 D-30 Disability Impact List says, “I am overjoyed and deeply honored for being selected as a D-30 Disability List Honoree. Advocating for inclusion is my passion and creating awareness in the community has always been full of challenges and obstacles however, I’ve never let this bring me down. Moments like these, where my hard work is recognized, keeps me motivated and further fuels my passion.”
