Diversability is proud to be a Strategic Alliance Partner for #WeAreChangeMakers #WWT2017. Meet a few of our community members who will be in attendance.

Allie Molina, Founder of A Respect Movement

"I am the 28-year-old founder of A Respect Movement focused on building awareness for social acceptance, where I make jewelry and donate 10% of the proceeds to help people with disabilities. As someone who struggles with a social disability (diagnosed with Non-Verbal Learning Disability at age 9), I want to teach people about inclusion and respect. I love jewelry and helping people understand each other, and I want to use my story to encourage others and break into the fashion industry. I plan on supporting the Tim Tebow Foundation, Surfers Healing, and Gatepath through sales made during #WeAreChangeMakers #WWT2017."

Brittany Déjean, Founder of AbleThrive

"I'm excited to speak at Wonder Women Tech because it's an opportunity to showcase AbleThrive's work to new audiences within and outside the disability sector. I love being in diverse communities that intersect with social innovation and tech. It's an incredible opportunity to learn from others and see how we can move AbleThrive forward. I'm also grateful for the opportunity to speak and share a bit of our journey and how to overcome barriers to inclusion."

Erica Lupinacci, Co-Founder of Suffering The Silence

"I'll be giving a talk called Strength in Vulnerability: Breaking the Silence Surrounding Chronic Illness at Wonder Women Tech. I'm the co-founder of Suffering the Silence, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to leveraging the power of art, media, and storytelling to raise awareness for chronic illness & disability. I have a Bachelor of Arts from Hampshire College, where I studied Public Health and Theatre. I currently live in Los Angeles and am an actor. I was diagnosed with lupus at 18 and am dedicated to raising awareness for people who have felt silenced or alone because of their differences.

I am so excited to be at #WeAreChangeMakers #WWT2017 and have the opportunity to connect with such a strong and determined group of women. I'm looking forward to learning from and about these women dedicated to diversity, innovation, and inclusion."

Luda Gogolushko, Founder of INCLUDAS Publishing

"Born with muscular dystrophy, I have had to learn how to be my own inclusion advocate from a sitting position. Sometimes it is challenging being in a wheelchair, but exciting to challenge others to be inclusive for others, which is one of the reasons I run a diversity press company dedicated to authors who identify with a particular ability status as well as books that have characters with disabilities.

I am excited to engage with all of the different technology and science related things to learn more ways to be inclusive. In addition, I can;t wait to get an taste of what ideas and opportunities the STEAM space has to offer, as well as meet new people and listen to all of the exciting things people have to share."
