Founder, National Computer Institute (NCI) | Accessibility Leader & Digital Inclusion Advocate, India

Nandan Kumar Singh is a digital inclusion advocate, certified accessibility tester, and founder of the National Computer Institute (NCI), an organization established in 2023 to empower people with disabilities through digital literacy, accessibility, and assistive technology. Through NCI and partnerships with nonprofits and educational institutions, Nandan has trained more than 400 learners in computer skills, accessibility testing, programming, and digital technologies. Since August 2025, he has collaborated with the National Federation of the Blind Jharkhand and NAB Delhi through the Sugam Bharat Yatra initiative, delivering digital literacy workshops across India. He has also led more than 15 online and in-person workshops focused on accessibility and digital inclusion. His work helps disabled people gain the skills and confidence needed to participate more fully in education, employment, and digital life. Nandan’s contributions were recognized with the 2025 Divyangjan Talent Award from the Government of Jharkhand. He also serves as an Independent Member of the Internet Society Accessibility Standing Group and as a Global Advisor for Billion Strong. Through education, technical expertise, and advocacy, Nandan is helping build a more digitally accessible future.
