Marisa Hamamoto is the founder of Infinite Flow Dance, an award-winning professional dance company employing disabled and nondisabled dancers to champion inclusion through movement. Since May 2024, she has brought disability-inclusive performances to high-profile venues such as the Television Academy, United Nations, and Academy Museum. She has also reached 10,000+ students through 40+ school assemblies, reshaping how youth perceive disability. In October 2025, she launched SHIFT, a monthly dance community event that fosters interdependence and connection. Named the first professional dancer to be honored as a People Magazine “Woman Changing the World,” Marisa continues to blend art, accessibility, and advocacy to challenge cultural norms and expand belonging.
