Join us in welcoming Marcalee Sipski Alexander to Philadelphia!
Marcalee and her husband Craig are on a 2,500-mile journey from Canada to Key West to raise awareness on the impacts of extreme weather for persons with and without disabilities.
Marcalee will be walking through Philly in September and we want to be sure our community shows up to show our support!
Join us in traveling from Jefferson to Love Park - demonstrating to Philadelphia the impacts people with disabilities face during and after extreme weather events that are only increasing in frequency.
Gather with us at 11AM on September 8th at 10th and Walnut!
We will start our march/roll at 11:30AM off to Love Park - where we will have a handful of speakers, learn about the Day for Tomorrow on 9/22, and rally until 2PM.
American Sign Language (ASL) provided & available throughout the event.
Extreme weather events are impacting all of us, but for people with disabilities we are 2-4 times more likely to die or be injured during and after disasters, we need our nation to take action now!
