Attend a town hall about solving California’s need for more accessible and affordable long-term supports and services (LTSS), so that all of us can live and age with dignity.
Please note: The Care Agenda: LTSS* for All Town Hall is happening during the 3rd Annual Independent Living Conference, but you do not have to be registered for the IL Conference to attend the Town Hall. All conference attendees and the general public is invited to attend for free. All are welcome! Please just make sure to register!
The event will include a panel discussion with state legislators on the challenges that people with disabilities and older adults face when seeking affordable long term supports and services (LTSS) and the personal care attendants who provide crucial LTSS.
Be sure to fill out the RSVP so that we can provide all necessary accommodations including translation services, captioning, ASL, etc.! RSVP Here: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/TownHalls4LTSS
The town hall is sponsored by the Disability Organizing Network and UDW/AFSCME Local 3930. This town hall is supported by the California Aging and Disability Alliance.
