Meet the hosts:
Young Hearts: Continuing the legacy of her mother, Jane Seymour, Katie Flynn has founded Young Hearts, along with her dear friends and co-chairs Ella Freyinger and Adee Zach. This talented trifecta of women are collectively bringing their individual passions and vision towards supporting and raising awareness for philanthropic organizations that inspire and empower their community.
Young Hearts is an extension of the Open Hearts Foundation. Our purpose is to continue the Open Hearts mission through the younger generations by creating accessible opportunities and events to support current and future philanthropists.
The Open Hearts Foundation is a social impact accelerator that is committed to empowering emerging and growing nonprofit organizations, whose origins and mission are consistent with the precepts of the Open Hearts philosophy.
She Lift: SheLift empowers girls with physical differences to improve self-acceptance and confidence through outdoor adventures and body-positive mentorship. SheLift provides experiences to young women with disabilities to help them live authentic lives and connect with others. SheLift aims to normalize differences while developing, challenging, and nurturing girls’ physical and emotional abilities.
Alliance of Moms: Founded in 2014, Alliance of Moms is a membership-based program that supports pregnant and parenting teens in LA County's foster care system. As an organization, they are a part of the Alliance for Children's rights, a four-star Charity Navigator nonprofit founded in 1992. Their flagship program is Raising Baby, has a curriculum focused on early brain development.
